RIDDIM RUNWAY CARNIVAL COMING TO FORT MYERS!

Fort Myers, FLA, RIDDIM RUNWAY 2012 – CARNIVAL STYLE. West Indian Carnival comes to SWFL!!!! Riddim Runway an annual west indian/caribbean  concert and fashion extravaganza, showcasing the best in Caribbean music and fashion while helping local charities is this year bringing a taste of CARNIVAL to Southwest Florida. The streets of downtown fort myers will be filled with West Indian Carnival paraders and floats.

On Saturday September 22nd in conjunction with Hotel Indigo and the River District Alliance and following the weekend festivities of Music Walk on Friday and the classic car show on Saturday, the Carnival Parade will begin at 8p.m on Broadway between First and Main in front of Hotel Indigo.  The parade will go down First Street, then Hendry orJackson, up Main and end at Broadway where the concert and festivities will continue.  The fashion show will also be on the mainstage on Broadway starting at 5p.m.

Brought to you by King Leo Promotions’, in association with Hotel Indigo, Riddim Runway starts at 5pm and is guaranteed to entertain you with the best of the Caribbean culture.  Other sponsors of this prestigious show are  Ontonio Designs, Indulgence Salon, Spazz LLC and Urbanconnect Multimedia. Do you love poetry/spoken word? Are you interested in the chance to help pass that love on to our local youth in SWFL? We need coaches, assistant coaches, judges & even kids (ages 13+) interested in training & auditioning for our SWFL slam team to prepare for the opportunity to compete in California for HBO’s Brave New Voices in early 2013. We are seeking to represent ALL counties in SWFL and ALL cultures so please do not hesitate to inquire! We will be auditioning soon and applications must be in by the end of March so contact ASAP for more info. 239-878-1279 >> Serious inquiries ONLY!

KIDS! If you’re interested in auditioning (dates TBA), please DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION, have you & your parents sign it and return it to us.
