Celebrate Black Love: Wedded Bliss’ Black Marriage Day

If you read my blogs/sites on the regular, you should already know I believe black love is worthy of celebrating every day, year round. But I am all for celebrating Wedded Bliss Foundation Inc’s 9th Annual National Black Marriage Day this Sunday March 27th (press release) just as well as any couple should celebrate their anniversary and birthdays!

If you are celebrating Black Marriage Day in your city or community, please visit the official Black Marriage Day website and list your event there. Any entity, individual or family interested in celebrating the joy of marriage in the Black community can host a Black Marriage Day event.  Organize couples in your family, social or work group to stand up on Black Marriage Day and celebrate marriage. The goal is to change the hearts and minds of the Black community to cherish and celebrate the marriages that we currently have while encouraging others to commit themselves to marriage. (source)
