The “L’union Fait la Force (Strength in Unity)” Compilation CD
Charity effort to restore hope through music by Haitian and American artists

Description: This project will be a compilation of original works from various types of artists including spoken word poets, rappers, singers, motivational speakers, producers and more. The purpose of this CD is to restore hope into the lives of those affected by the Haiti earthquakes directly or indirectly through positive music and lyrics. ALL proceeds will go directly to YELE Haiti.

Stages of development:

1) Open casting call ends 2/15/10
2) 1st informational conference call 3/01/10
3) Artist submissions and release forms due 3/15/10
4) Final track selection 3/20/10
5) 2nd conference call for selected artists 3/21/10
6) Call for cover art submissions 3/22/10
7) Selections mastered and mixed 3/28/10
8.) Compilation review show 3/29/10
9) Public release date 4/01/10

CD is set to include 20 tracks maximum; positive, uplifting and conscious submissions ONLY. All artists must have access to decent recording facilities as bad audio will not be accepted. Producers and writers are available to work with artists upon request so please let us know if you need these services. CD will be available for digital download ONLY at $5 per download. Artists are asked to actively spread the word and market and prepare to be available for any future interviews/promo appearances, etc as needed. Artists retain copyrights on their own material. Cover art must also be an original, inspiring work which embodies the unity of music, hope, America and Haiti. Release forms for all materials must accompany the submission to be considered for inclusion. Please note this is a volunteer only project and ALL PROCEEDS go directly to YELE Haiti, no monies has been nor will be retained by Hell Bound Entertainment, Acoustic Affairs or any individuals participating in the production of this project.
